Montgomery's Brittany Jones headed to Cal Poly Pomona

Montgomery senior guard Brittany Jones will walk on on the basketball team at Cal Poly Pomona, a Division II school with a roster that includes Sonoma County products in Sarah Semenero (Sonoma) and Kaitlyn Derby (Petaluma).
Jones, a 2009 McDonald's All-American nominee, averaged 19.9 points, 5.0 assists and 4.1 steals as a senior and is the school's second all-time leading scorer with 1,434 points.
She was a four-time North Bay League selection and the Vikings had a 70-22 record during her career. Jones played her freshman year at Ursuline.
